But in the end, they have to figure things out on their own, sometimes the hard way...it seems like the real foundation is built when they are very young.Stephanie Farishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10461865229341760836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5035303649437804445.post-91738185044298744832011-04-15T14:47:56.869-05:002011-04-15T14:47:56.869-05:00Aw, I loved this post. I don't think I'll ever feel that way again.Jennifer Hillierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15783975547643539868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5035303649437804445.post-919879656194112472011-04-15T14:47:11.078-05:002011-04-15T14:47:11.078-05:00So that video makes me kinda sad. :( But your pos...So that video makes me kinda sad. :( But your post makes me kinda happy, too. :)Bethany Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12829932931010851406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5035303649437804445.post-5926680367959251742011-04-15T13:04:06.105-05:002011-04-15T13:04:06.105-05:00You did shoot him back, right? You did shoot him back, right?Bryan Russellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09555071335245492790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5035303649437804445.post-10466395831072927382011-04-15T12:25:40.647-05:002011-04-15T12:25:40.647-05:00Yes! Now see, that isn't a bad picture at all.

I had a moment like that awhile back (not the guns and knives part), reflecting on who I was when I was a teenager and what I wanted then. I still have a lot of the same goals - to write and get published -- life just took me on a long circuitous route before I could get back to it. And I'm trying very hard not to push my fourteen year old son into being something he's not, but we've always had a pretty good understanding that way. Hopefully it survives his high school years too. Fingers crossed.Luanne G. Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15762881276976395955noreply@blogger.com
