It is Monday again...dreary, rainy Monday. I don't usually post regarding music but today this fit my mood and it is so hauntingly beautiful, it must be shared.
Wreck of the Day by Anna Nalick
The first verse is:
Driving away from the wreck of the day
And the light's always red in the rear-view
Desperately close to a coffin of hope
I'd cheat destiny just to be near you
I have only listened to it twenty times so far...full volume...in my office...at work.
I wonder if anyone has noticed.
OK, I'm going to make a note and look this up on itunes.
ReplyDeleteHaha...well...that's why I have earbuds. Nobody knows what I'm listening to but me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful song. Beautiful voice. Perfect for a moody, rainy, Monday! Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteT.: Don't forget, you will like it.
ReplyDeleteSteph: I refuse to wear earbuds. I want everyone to hear my music...and me singing along. I would not want to deprive them of that.
Terry: I totally knew you would like it!!
Hey, it's Monday, they'll understand.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Eva Cassidy.
