Wednesday's Word

Today’s word is Gravity. This is the force that keeps our feet on the ground every day, which is a good thing. Not much would get done if we were floating all over the place.

But the long term side effects are not pretty. I invite you to do an experiment. You can only participate if you are over thirty. If you are not…no one wants to hear your results.

Take a compact mirror. Raise it to your face and look into it. All is pretty good, right? Or at least tolerable, I mean you’ve lived with that face for a while now.

Keep looking…and bend over.

Oh yeah, that’s all you, baby.

Don’t hate me for bringing the truth. I recommend never doing this again. Just be aware that this is what little kids see when you bend over to kiss them.
On a side note, after a certain point you should never look at yourself in the mirror from behind naked either. Not that you would but…you don’t really want to know what gravity is doing back there.

And that, my friends, is the Word.

  1. Ha-ha. Don't try this at home! That was sadisitc, Marsha:)

I have an idea for your Friday Flashbacks. Have you done the flapper era yet, the 20's? Or maybe the Wild West. Cowgirls! Not the Dallas cheery ones, although they could be fun.

  2. Ha! Never from behind and naked! Words of wisdom!!!!!!

  3. That is why I cover my gravity ravaged body with hair.

  4. Oh my gosh! What a post! lol! I'm 28 and I'm already beginning to see the signs :(

  5. HILARIOUS. I'm seriously laughing out loud.

  6. Why... oh why must you put this pregnant girl through these thoughts? LOL! I'm such a hot prego girl!

It helps to know I'm not just talking to myself.
