We break from our regular blog posting schedule to bring you awesome news!
Ammi-Joan Paquette of Erin Murphy Literary is participating in a pitch contest over at YAtopia. This agency is closed to unsolicited queries so this is a rare opportunity!
The contest is only for children's and young adult categories so if this is your thing, then head over there right NOW! It's going to end at midnight on March 24th or cap at 150 entries (think they're going to have to cap this one) so there isn't much time left.
The only other rules are:
Be a follower of YAtopia
Blog/Tweet/Facebook about the contest
You need a two sentence pitch and you have to include the opening line of your manuscript.
Good Luck!!!
I wish I could take advantage of this. She already rejected my last manuscript and my new one isn't ready.
ReplyDeleteI'm holding a 500 followers contest. Please visit my blog if you get a chance.
Good luck, everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. So great they do things like that.
ReplyDeletegreat post.
I woke up Sunday a.m. to find my blog, my 500 plus followers, my 100plus author interviews, and my 200 plus reviews gone. Blogger gave no explanation, but I think the account was hacked. Change your password often!
I have reloaded the interviews and reviews, plus redesigned the blog. But if you could, please hit the "follow" button so I can reclaim the fellow bloggers I miss. I'm still following you, as my account remained--thank goodness!
