Fashion Friday

Every once in a while it's necessary to take a break from day jobs and writing into the wee hours of the night to check out the current fashions and make sure that yes...we still live in a place where jeans and a t-shirt are considered formal wear.

Maybe you check out Cosmo or some other high fashion mag but those of you who have followed for a while know that I have the skinny on cutting edge fashion.

Walmart.

It's all about the shoes.  Here you can see how he has pulled together this ensemble with an open toed stiletto heel.  Classy yet still flirty at the same time.  Bravo.

So this is what happened to the first Victoria from Twilight?  We have to admit, a tiny hat is like the exclamation point on your display of dark awesomeness.

We didn't need this pic to know pearls are soooo in!!!!  Also you can't ever go wrong with fishnets.

Oh No, you didn't!!!!  Johnny Depp is the only one who can rock The Mad Hatter look.  So take your Cheshire cat in the back there and go home.  Wannabe.

Obviously another fan of LiLa's The Liar Society so we aren't judging here.  Plus his leg/foot wear rocks this outfit.

Do not forget hair accessories.  They are every bit as important to your outfit as...a wrist sweatband.  You go, girl.

That is all.

Have a great weekend!!!

  2. Hi Marsha, new follower here. I don't know how you got my photo, but you should know I only wear the black wrist bands for special occasions like visiting the cosmetics aisle. I tend to sweat when I see so much eyeshadow all in one place...other than my face, that is.

  3. LOL, I haven't checked out peopleofwalmart.com in a while but I never see anything that exciting at Wal-Mart. I think to see this much craziness, you have to be there late, late at night!

  4. In some cases of Walmartness, I'm a bit put off, but every once and awhile, I'll see something I actually like. Sort of a, "Way to go! You have a style and you're going for it!" :)
Although, sometimes I'm just disturbed. :)

  5. Bwahahaha! WalMart has a style sense all its own. I was just there last weekend and there was a woman wearing a tube top and Daisy Duke shorts (keep in mind I'm in the Northwest, where it's not super cold, but it's still winter) and she, uh, wasn't a small lady. The ensemble was made even more perfect thanks to her Bo Derek cornrows.

I need to start bringing my camera.
