Scare Me

Looking for a little extra scare tonight?  Try these old movies out.  In my opinion they are still the best.  Even if you're too busy to watch, having them play in the background is mandatory if you want to freak out trick or treaters.  And who doesn't?

Although I'm not really sure what is scarier, that white mask or Jamie Lee Curtis' hair.  You be the judge.

Nothing can touch the level of creepiness that is Christopher Walken.

But if you're just hanging with the family, these are great pics for teenagers:

Pretend you don't still think Jason Patric is smokin' hot.  And no one can rock a mullet like Keifer.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

And these for under 8 and over 80.  It's all these same when you're in that zone.

This movie is to Halloween like It's a Wonderful Life is to Christmas.  Watch it!

Funny, freaky, and kid friendly.  I liked it wayyyy more than I wanted to admit as a mature adult.  But who am I kidding?  I still watch SpongeBob even when no kids are in the room.

Have a Scaretastic Halloween!!!

  2. The first time I watched Jaws, I was scared. When the T-Rex first breaks free, I was on edge. Repeated viewings are just entertaining.

Slasher movies don't really do it for me. I get frustrated at the characters stupidity then get scared.

There's a cool B movie making the cable rounds this month. TRIANGLE had an interesting premise and it was not obvious. Give it a shot.

  3. I LOVE Hocus Pocus. Sigh. And that "Heads Will Roll" tagline now has the "Heads Will Roll" song stuck in my head :)

  5. Christopher Walken is my muse. :) He is so weird, but I love him.

I will never watch another Friday 13th movie (or similar). I can't contain my anger when watching stupid people do stupid things. Yes, please go down in the basement all by yourself when you know there's a murderer on the loose and all the power in the house is out, you idiot!

    Happy Halloween!!

  6. Nobody rocks a mullet like Keifer! Couldn't agree more. Good call on The Lost Boys - that's a good one for tonight if I'm still awake after my Hannibal Lecter moviethon.

    Happy Halloween! :)

  8. ...I made the mistake of watching The Exorcist by myself one evening as a fearless teenager. That flick haunts me to this day ;)
