Of course, this is just a short list. But if you’re ever confused you can always go HERE.

They can help you…and no one will make fun of how old and uncool you are.
Ok, they will...but you won’t be able to see them doing it.

I can remember when the only acronym we needed to know was BYOB.

  1. I now I feel alittle more in the know. Thanks!

  2. OMG R these 4 real? I LUV this! I'm totally going to copy this list. I hope you don't mind. I need the cheat sheet for RL and for my WIP's. ;)

  3. WTF? No, Seriously, I love this cheat sheet. I get confused on some of them. LOL!

    Thanks. TTFN:)

  4. ROFL and OMG, you guys are so funny.

(This is fun. Light-Bulb. Maybe that's why teenagers use it?)

  5. This was actually really helpful! I have nieces and nephews who text me and half the time I have no idea what they're talking about.

I'm that much cooler to a 12-year-old now.

  6. BFO - that's a new one! These abbreviations got so overused and annoying that most of the people I know (read: college demographic) have adopted them mockingly into everyday speech, so it's not that weird to have people say things like "tmi" out loud, or to abbreviate something like "obviously" to "obvy," chapel" to "chaps," etc.

  7. I am down with this. WTF means WHY THE FACE?

It helps to know I'm not just talking to myself.
