Tuesday Taunts

Taylor Swift…

meet Kimberly Perry, lead singer of The Band Perry.

She can match your curly blond cuteness, your endearing innocence, and the insanely high notes you can still hit because I suspect neither of you has fully undergone puberty.

BUT…that’s not all.

She has two brothers who are strangely attractive in weird Indie/Goth sort of way. Maybe someone should tell them they’re singing county music? They look like they could kick the crap out of you just for fun.

Watch your back, Taylor. The challenge is thrown and you’re already down by one (or two). You need another boyfriend quick so you have some lyrics for that new album.

Disclaimer: This is not my typical music but I have to admit...I sort of like it.  And I get to taunt Taylor Swift so it's like a win, win.

  1. Those boys do not look country at all. I think they should dump their sister out of the canoe and start a new band that rocks with some heavy guitar. I'm afraid I can't take all that sweetness. :)

  3. I agree with L.G. To me, they look more like they belong to rock music. :)

  4. Wow! I love that song! This band is now on my radar.

The kind of look like the should be the cast of a new True Blood/Supernatural-esque tv show.

  5. I've heard this song so many times and never had clue who sang it.

I like Taylor Swift and all her girly innocence, but I have to admit, her hair bothers me. It reminds of the perm I always wanted when I was 15 but could (thankfully!) never achieve. I'd like to see her do something different.

    That is all.

  6. Wow, this family's definitely got the "hair" down. My, my. I think Perry's got more of a wild look than Swift. Definitely smelling a throwdown.

  8. You know that's not actually a bad tune...LOL...though I admit I wasn't able to listen to it completely...have to protect the eardrums. Like L. G. said, they need a bit more heavy guitar and to ditch the suits. They'll be more relaxed then and not so stiff. :o)

It helps to know I'm not just talking to myself.
