Stuff I Missed

I've been in a semi-coma this week due to a deadly virus seeking to destroy me.  You may know it as the common cold but nothing feels common about this.  This is a cold on crack.  

Hopefully the worst is over but as I checked back in with the world...it seemed I'd been gone much longer than just a few days.  Maybe because these are just some of the things I missed:

The Internet shut down.
My Governor dropped out of the race for President.
And Betty White turned 90.

Not to mention numerous posts on my favorite blogs.

What else?  Did anything else happen I should be aware of?  Come on,  you can tell me.

Do you realize there is a cat pic that fits just about any subject?

    Nothing really happened, oh wait - A cruise ship veered "off course" ans slammed into a rock the size of.. I dunno, a really big rock.

    Other than that, nope, you didn't miss much. Hope you're over that cat's tongue blech disease (this germaphobe is wearing a mask even as she types). :P

    I can't tell you what else you missed because I've totally self-absorbed with edits and moving that I think I missed a lot, too. Hopefully we'll both get back on track soon.

    Oh, wait. I did read an article on CNN.com last night that a severed head, hands, and feet were found near the Hollywood sign in L.A. That's pretty cool, yes? *says the creepy thriller writer*

    While you're recuperating, I'd thought I'd give you an update or two, because that's the type of guy that I am.

    The cruise line is being sued. Surprised, right?
    It's snowing this weekend.
    All six Star Wars movies are being released again - in 3D.
