Freak Me Out

I don't care what's on your TBR list right now...move Freak to the top for August 7th.  It's that good.  I would also like to say that my very good friend Jennifer Hillier is not only beautiful and talented but one of the sweetest, most caring people I know.  The fact that she writes so disturbingly well about serial killers is just a bonus.  A scary, scary bonus.

Moving right along with the freak me out theme I have going here...
TomKat is officially over.

Someone obviously sobered up.

I realized I've been missing this show:

But caught a marathon over the weekend and now I am seriously HOOKED.

Found a new favorite sign.

Plan on putting it in the front yard this weekend.  That's actually less about freaking me out and more about freaking out the neighbors.  Good times.

Any freaked out moments you care to share???

  1. Ms. Hillier defines awesomeness, that's for sure. Wasn't that first Freaky chapter great?

Yep, the Katie hostage situation is finally over - yay.

  2. Jennifer is a fantastic writer! :) I have no doubt Freak will be just a creepy as Creep, if not more so! :)

  3. Wherever that sign is posted, that's my next vacation destination. The sticky syrup may be a problem, but I'll find a way to deal with it. :D

And I'm looking forward to being FREAKed out once more by Jennifer. Yay!!

Ooh, and you'll be surprised to learn I actually watched The Walking Dead. It is seriously disturbing, yet strangely entertaining.

  5. Looks like Katie grew up and took down that Top Gun poster on her bedroom wall.

  6. I can't think of anything that's freaked me out recently (other than the lizard mentioned on my blog). In fact, I could use a marathon of Walking Dead to get my blood pumping. Hope you had fun! :-)

  8. You know you've made it when you get mentioned in a post along with Tom and Katie! :P Thanks for the shout out, my friend! Was nice to read this my last night in NYC.

The Walking Dead is one of my favorite shows. I also highly recommend Breaking Bad - I watched the first 4 seasons on DVD over the last month, and I think it might just be the best show on TV right now. (Bland high school chemistry teacher evolves into meth cook and drug kingpin.)

  9. I'm just surprised it took her this long to realize Tom was gay. And now, to properly grieve, Tom can console himself in those massage parlors with his buddy John Travolta.

I'm in need of a new book. Off to Jennifer's site to learn some more about Freak...

It helps to know I'm not just talking to myself.
