Words to Live By

You cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic, and then give in.

Honesty is the best policy, but insanity is a better defense.

You shouldn't compare yourself to others - they are more screwed up than you think.

Depression is merely anger without enthusiasm.

Someone who thinks logically provides a nice contrast to the real world.

Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.

Any and all compliments can be handled by simply saying "Thank you," though it helps if you say it with a Southern accent…

Note: Going on vacation for a few weeks and kicking around the idea of posting old entries every once in a while.  Kind of like a flashback of crazy...instead of the current crazy you normally get.  I like that.  What do you think?

  1. I love that first one! Because hey, that's how I won you over...

Have a lovely vacation! And I'm all for old posts. Call them "Best of Marsha".

  2. My mom told me about that last one, and she actually lived down south for awhile. :D Although, I like that first one an awful lot too. :)

  3. Ha! Those are all great. And I read a piece of dialogue in an excerpt someone posted today that read something like, "Of course I love you. I'm too scared not to." Ah, stalker love...

Hey, have a great vacation. And I think summer reruns are totally fine. Besides, I haven't seen some of your older posts. They'll be new to me.

  4. LOL. I love the fifth one about logic especially.

Hope you enjoy your vacation! I'm with L.G.: I haven't read some of your older posts so it'll be the same as new content.

  6. Have a great vacation. And if you want to post old crazy while you're gone, go for it. I probably won't remember it from before anyway. ;o)

It helps to know I'm not just talking to myself.
