A List

My Insecurity List:

1) Growing out my bangs may not have been the best decision.
2) The really light strand of hair I found on my head might not be from highlight solution. Did I use silver?
3) If I gain 5 more pounds I am going to have to lay on bed to zip pants. High School flashback.
4) Did I turn off the coffee maker this morning?
5) I am not a bad writer but I'm not that good either.  I am Mediocre.  Which is so much worse.

Done.  I know I feel better.

  1. I've got you beat on the gray and poundage, but none of that matters anyway, unless it affects your health. I think I'm smack dab in the middle of mediocrity myself. I still love writing, so there. :Þ

My big insecurity if life in general - long story. I just take it one day at a time as best as I can. It's all you can do.

  2. I'm getting better and I can't have bangs thanks to a cow lick (and who the heck ever thought that one up, eh?). We won't talk about the silver.

  3. OMG. I hear you on the gray hair and poundage. I let my workouts slide and now my pants are so tight. Guess who had a lettuce leaf for lunch. Sigh.

And you are NOT mediocre. I was highly entertained by your story. I'm highly entertained by everything you write. And, no, this "highly" stuff has nothing to do with our pot initiative passing in Colorado last night. Ha!

  4. I just cut bangs a month ago, and they're already in that stage where they look sloppy and need a trim. Do I trim or grow? Oh, the decisions. AND I've got way more than one strand of, ahem, silver!

And you are NOT a mediocre writer. Hold out your hand so I can smack it, please.

  5. Your writing's fun, humorous, and meaningful. Thus, I'm your newest follower. I found you through the IWSG.

Re #2, it is from hair solution. I know this because I keep mistakenly using silver highlight solution too. It likes to gravitate to the front and most obvious patches of hair. You're not alone.

    Cheers!

It helps to know I'm not just talking to myself.
