Reading Hangover

I blame Cassandra Clare, and the fourth book in The Mortal Instruments series, City of Fallen Angels. Reading it in one evening might not be the smartest move but I challenge you to be able to put it down. Just. Not. Possible.

My eye bags have bags, and those bags have tiny carry on bags. I’m triple baggin’ it. This strikes me as extremely funny. Also, one of the cool side effects of habitual sleep deprivation is the increasing ability to sleep anywhere or in any position. I can fall sleep standing up now. And I learned recently, I can fall asleep and keep typing. So it is impossible to bust me sleeping at work.

I am like a superhero. Maybe I could join the Justice League.

Pardon my insanity. And read the Mortal Instruments.

  1. Ooh, I've been wanting to read these. Not much better praise than staying up all night to finish a book. I need a trip to the bookstore.

  2. I love the covers of these books! I'm such a sucker for covers.

Ahhh... Justice League. Between the superheroes and the Smurfs, that was my childhood right there.

  3. I have CITY OF BONES but haven't read it yet. I don't know if I could read it in an evening. Maybe I could. Sometimes a book keeps me up at night until I finish.

  5. Cute review! I'll have to check it out. I dream of someday being the author everyone's buzzing about, but I guess we all do!

It helps to know I'm not just talking to myself.
