Work Thoughts:
You can go anywhere you want if you look serious and carry a clipboard.
To err is human; to blame someone else shows real management potential.
At work, the authority of a person is inversely proportional to the number of pens that person is carrying.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question, "How would Iron Man handle this?"
Is anyone else taking a break over the holidays? Putting the blog on hold? Or are you taking this extra time to get more writing done?
And with that, I leave you with a family picture...not my family but close enough as to not really matter.
Hah, that first one is what I always say to my cohorts when we're about to do something we're not sure we're supposed to. If you look like you belong there, people will assume you do.
ReplyDeleteSomeone told me once the key to getting promoted at work is to arrive before everyone else, leave after everyone else, and walk around really fast carrying a clipboard. You don't even have to do real work...just give the illusion of it. Not sure if that works or not!
